Krakow Part 2
White sausage soup was a tasty lunch. I think it was called Borscht. Finished with a cottage cheese pancake which was... interesting.
Next we visited the mountains of Zakopane.
HORSE!
Yeah... it was pretty cold there.
We went up the cable car to go further up the mountain and there were some amazing views.
Some more menu design :)
This restaurant had some interesting decor.
Soup inside the bread? Yes please!

Let's go to Krakow!
While at University we had a trip to Krakow, Poland. I didn't really know what to expect but after going in the Winter I was very glad to have done so.
The old town square.
We visited a few galleries and museums. Here is an interesting page I found in the comments book. I liked the style of handwriting and the little pencil drawing :)
So much snow! I love it!
We also visited the Jewish Quarter (Kazimierz)
One gallery we visited had an orchestra practicing in the next room so that made for some nice background music as we observed the artwork.
Some cool menu design:
To be continued...

Sweets illustration
Had a go at drawing some chocolates I had bought in France. Petit Coeurs - Little Hearts and some mini kinder chocolates.
All drawn from these two photos:

Underground poster
I had revisited a design I had made for college of a poster for the underground. It would advertise getting the tube to the science museum. I have a few versions but I think its still missing something.
Its based on the underground poster by David Booth for the Tate gallery. Here is a photo I took of it at the transport museum in London.
Here are some other versions of my poster.
Unfortunately I didn't keep the original poster I had made at college. If I picture it in my head it would be pretty funny to see it next to my improved designs. Its crazy how much you can change in a few years.
